For a while, I thought all men were liars and cheaters, and they only wanted me for sex. I’ve talked to numerous women who believe the same thing. I’ve heard dozens of women say that marriage is a nightmare and they’d never want to get married again. I get it. I used to feel exactly the same way. When you’ve “had no example of a love that was even remotely real,” it seems impossible to find a good guy and you have no desire to fall in love again. I totally agree with this: “You can’t be blamed for the way that you feel.” And that’s why I love “Let Me Love You” by Ne-Yo: these words and this song helped me believe that men like him [whoever wrote these lyrics] absolutely exist. That’s why I created the Love Playlist to begin with. I found things that helped me believe that the love like I’d always wanted WAS/IS POSSIBLE. If there’s one man who feels this way, then there MUST be more, and when I didn’t believe it, I turned on My Love Playlist and went hiking until I changed my focus BACK to believing that what I wanted to create was on its way to me. It works.;

I believe that if you think you don’t want a relationship, it’s because you don’t want what you had before. In the past. You may never have had real love. If you were presented with real love with a man who has your back, makes you his first priority, adores you, cherishes you and supports you, you would want it. 

That’s why working on changing your negative beliefs is so important. Attracting what you want into your life is just a daily practice. Keeping the focus on what you want, believing it is happening. once you continue using some of these strategies, you start feeling like your soulmate really is on his way, and then BAM! One day, you’ll run right into him. He might be in front of you the WHOLE TIME like John was.

I do disagree about one thing though. Don’t wait to find love before you love yourself. The only way to attract someone who loves you, respects you and trusts you is to love, respect, and trust yourself first.
